Privacy Policy
Snugglenut is a bedtime story app designed for parents to use with their children. Your family's privacy matters deeply to us. Here's exactly what we do — and don't do — with your information.
We collect no personal data from children
Snugglenut does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from children. We do not ask for email addresses, ages, photos, or any other identifying information. The app is designed to be used by a parent or guardian with their child.
Names stay on your device
When you enter your child's name to personalize a story, that name is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never sent to our servers or any third party. You can clear it at any time by unchecking "Remember this name" or clearing your browser data.
Anonymous analytics
We use PostHog for basic, anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used (for example, which story themes are most popular). These analytics contain no personal identifiers — no names, no IP addresses, no device fingerprints. We use this data solely to improve Snugglenut.
No ads, no tracking pixels, no data sharing
Snugglenut has no advertisements, no tracking pixels, and no third-party data sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with anyone. Period.
COPPA compliance
Snugglenut is designed for parents and guardians to use with their children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We never knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because all data stays on-device and we collect no personal identifiers, there is no children's data for us to manage or protect on our servers.
